We stopped at this rest stop while driving through Babinda, and it was a really pleasant experience. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, which is always a big plus. I loved the shaded picnic tables available for a quick snack. The only thing I would recommend is adding more seating, as it got a bit crowded during lunchtime. But other than that, it was a solid place to take a break and recharge for the journey ahead!

I recently took a road trip through Queensland and stumbled upon this lovely rest stop. What a gem! Nestled right off the highway, it was the perfect little break from our long drive. The lush greenery and beautifully maintained gardens made it an inviting spot to stretch our legs. We were pleasantly surprised by the picnic area, where we enjoyed a nice packed lunch. There are plenty of tables and shade, which is a huge plus in the sun! The clean facilities were a breath of fresh air—definitely a relief during road trips. I also noticed some helpful signage that provided information about local wildlife, which was a nice touch. The only slight downside was that the coffee vending machine was out of order, and I could’ve really used a caffeine boost! Still, it didn’t dampen our spirits, as we just enjoyed the surrounding nature instead. Overall, this rest stop exceeded my expectations and made our journey so much more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be stopping here again on future trips!
